The area surrounding Rue Si’Cave's overhang has been rebuilt with cement to make ita place for modern monks to observe religious precepts, resulting in the site’s loss of archaeological significance. At the present, monks are prohibited from residing in this area. A shrine was constructed, and a sculpture of Hermit Vasudeva was erected here for public worship. Additionally, numerous Buddha statues have been constructed in this location. The Rue Si Cave area is located on the nature trail of Doi Suthep-Pui National Park . It wasused as a nature classroom of evergreen ecosystem for biology students. As the cave is geographically in the hill evergreen forest, it is home to venomous animals such as snakes. The f’rest's humidity also itscan make the walkways slippery.
