Bua Thong Waterfall is a stunning natural waterfall located 100 meters from the National Park Headquarters. With water all year round, the waterfall originates from Chet Si Spring located 250 meters to the east at. Due to the adhesion of calcium carbonate elements dissolved in water, it is a limestone stream with calcium deposited on top of its layered rock. The long stream flows along the heights following the water currents, through both large and minor furrows thus transforms into limestone waterfalls. The water pouring over the waterfall empties into Mae Pon Creek and Mae Pon Reservoir. The uniqueness of the waterfallis the beautiful limestone sediment that makes the surface of the waterfall quite rugged and not slippery, which enables visitors to move quickly among the waterfalls. They can lounge alongside streams and play in the pools shaded by magnificent, large trees.
