Pha Than Waterfall - Tham Sakoen National Park

General Information

   Pha Than Waterfall, or Hong Wiangchan Waterfall, was originally named after a  flow of water over the cliff; it formed a waterfall“called "”ha Than". Later, when there was a survey established for the preparatory area, it was renamed “Hong Wiangchan” in honor of the pioneer and the first explorer, Mr. Vithya Hongviengchan . It is a medium-sized waterfall with clear water flowing all year round from Nam Ngim Creek, originating from the Doi Chi mountain range. The waterfall has6 tiers, about 30 meters high and 5 meters wide. Coordinates 47 Q 0660812 E 2144682 N
