Wang Kaeo Waterfall is a spectacular waterfall located in Doi Luang National Park with water flowing year round. It is formed by the deposition of sedimentary rocks. It is similar to the Pu Kaeng Waterfall, but taller with 102 tiers. The waterfall can be accessed through two routes. The first route starts from Mueang Lampang District, Lampang Province, to Lampang Route-Chae Hom. From Chae Hom District, it takes around 58 kilometers to Wang Nuea Visitors drive roughly 24 kilometers along a gravel road to reach Wang Kaeo Waterfall. The second route is separated from the Chiang Rai-Chiang Mai route at Ban Mae Kha Chan. A paved road runs for approximately 16 kilometers from there to Wang Nuea district. It is more convenient than the first route.
