Champa Thong Waterfall - Doi Luang National Park
General Information
Champa Thong Waterfall is a cascading waterfall typically found in a tropical rain forest. It features a high, steep waterfall with crystal clear water. There are a total of seven tiers, while the second and third tiers are the highest and most magnificent. In some tiers, the water cascades down, like an ’lephant's ivory or head. The local people gave names to the w’terfall's tiers based on the appearance. Visitors can observe the waterfall from a paved road that branches out from the Chiang Rai-Phayao Road at the milestone No. 7th before entering Phayao. The waterfall is around 16 kilometers away.
