Sirithan Waterfall - Doi Inthanon National Park

General Information

   Sirithan Waterfall, formerly known as “Pa Kha Waterfall,” originates from Mae Klang Stream in Doi Inthanon and runs into Mae Ping River in Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai Procince. Her Majesty Queen Sirikit paid a visit to the waterfall  on March 28, 2002, and bestowed the name of “Sirithan Waterfall.” The two-tiered waterfall, located at the highway’s milestone No. 22nd at an elevation of 870 meters above mean sea level, cascades over  massive rocky cliffs froma height of around 50 meters to the base.  With sufficient water throughout the year and its sound can be heard from a far distance. Launched on March 28, 2002, as a new tourist destination, the waterfall is a prominent tourist attraction for both Thai and foreign visitors.
